A candidate for Congress has accused Patriots quarterback Tom Brady of shameful morality and said he should be held accountable for his behavior.

Kevin Thompson, who is running on the obscure Constiutional Party ticket in the Massachusetts 5th Congressional district, wrote a strongly worded blog post after an interview with Brady was published in Details magazine.

Brady discussed the upcoming birth of his child with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan and his current relationship with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen.

"What kind of world is this? Many millions of small, adoring fans look up to Brady only to find him chasing models, fathering children out of wedlock, and unashamedly engaging in an immoral lifestyle," Thompson wrote.

Brady told Details that he was bothered by the news coverage of Moynahan's pregnancy. "It doesn't affect anybody but me anyway, so why is it a big deal?" Brady told the magazine.

"Tom Brady apparently has no regard for traditional virtue or Biblical morality," wrote Thompson. "What is manly or praise-worthy of a man hopping from supermodel to supermodel and forcing a woman to raise her child without a loving present, father?"

Brady defended his relationships, "I'm attracted to women who are smart and funny and ambitious and have lives of their own and great families. Isn’t that what attracts anyone?"

Thompson said Brady is a role model to many children and should "be held up to higher standards."

Brady said could he just go live a quiet life in Vermont, but "is that what I really want?"
