Enrollment for the camps closed in April. But "Idol Camp" organizers promise on their Web site that information about "Idol Camp" 2008 is "coming soon."

The camp promises more than swim time and campfire songs for the 12- to 15-year-olds. According to their Web site, "Campers create their own schedules by choosing from classes in singing, dancing, acting, song-writing, audition and performance techniques, personal style, video production, set design and more."

The camp will welcome a list of popular "American Idol" contestants as teachers. Bucky Covington, Kimberly Locke, Vonzell Solomon,

Jon Peter Lewis and Carmen Rasmusen will all warm up their vocal cords to help campers.

"Idol Camp" organizers awarded some scholarships, but no one released how many young people will attend for free this summer. For everyone else, the 10-day "Idol" funfest costs $2,900.
