Details:Hit a home run at the New England Aquarium every Thursday night this summer with the Grand Slam Movie Series. Start with a signature cocktail or a crisp Sam Adams brew at the Reef, the Aquarium’s outdoor bar and restaurant, while watching the Red Sox on Flat-screen TV’s. Then, beat the heat in the comfort of the Simons IMAX Theatre and watch classic baseball movies on the largest screen in New England. The Grand Slam Movie Series begins Thursday, June 26, 2008 and will run through Thursday August 14, 2008. The movies begin at 8:10pm and ticket prices are as follows: $5 for adults, $3 for children (ages 3-11) and members, and $3 for anyone who makes a purchase at The Reef prior to attending the movie. Details:As part of the school’s required full-year course entitled Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME), teams of first year students began developing their business plans in September 2006, While they learned the nuts and bolts of inventing, developing, launching, managing, and liquidating a business, they were putting the lessons into real world practice. In January the students launched 15 ventures, which reaped $36,225 in profits for selected charities. In addition to running their business, the students donated their time and resources to local community service agencies of their choice.
