Veteran 'Dallas,' 'Dark Shadows' Actor Dies In Fire
Patrick Also Appeared In 'The Big Valley,' 'All In The Family'

Veteran actor Dennis Patrick, who had starring roles in the television shows "Dallas" and "Dark Shadows," has died in a house fire.
A Los Angeles County coroner said Patrick may have died of smoke inhalation during a fire at his home in the Hollywood Hills Sunday. He was 84.
Officials say he died with his dog beside him.
Patrick played Jason McGuire on "Dark Shadows," a horror-themed soap opera, in 1967, according to the Internet Movie Database. He also played the role of Paul Stoddard on the show during its 1969 season.
Patrick also played Vaughn Leland from 1979 to 1984 on the drama series "Dallas."
In addition to a bevy of starring roles in both movies and television, Patrick made numerous guest shots on such television series as "Bonanza," "Perry Mason," "The Big Valley," "The Bionic Woman," "Eight is Enough" and "All in the Family."
