STOUGHTON, Mass. -- Husband and wife bodybuilders from Las Vegas were arraigned on fugitive from justice charges Tuesday morning in Stoughton.NewsCenter 5's David Boeri reported that Craig Titus and his wife, Kelly Ryan, pleaded not guilty to the charges in Stoughton District Court. The two are accused of killing their former assistant in Las Vegas.The couple was arrested Friday in Stoughton while Ryan was having a manicure.Titus, a 1996 bodybuilding champion, told police he had a secret romance with the couple's assistant, Melissa James, 28. Her body was found in the trunk of a burned Jaguar on Dec. 14 near Las Vegas. Police said Titus strangled her before torching the car. Ryan will be charged with accessory to murder.The couple was allegedly seen at a Las Vegas-area Wal-Mart buying seven bottles of charcoal starter fluid and a barbecue tool set.A third person, Anthony Gross, has also been arrested and faces an accessory to murder charge.Attorneys for the couple said both plan to fight rendition to Nevada, a process that could take eight weeks.
