It's been a garbage dump, the title of a gritty Dennis Lehane book and Clint Eastwood movie, and a running joke. The Mystic River – it gets no respect. But the tide may be turning for this long abused waterway. In fact, to some newcomers, their part of the river feels like the North Country, or even … wait for it … Amsterdam. Tonight, Anthony Everett discovers that there's much more to the Mystic than what can be seen from the Tobin Bridge.
