Wednesday, July 1: Inside the Pru

POSTED: 11:58 am EDT June 25, 2009

It is part of the landscape, so familiar a sight that it has a nickname: the Pru. The Prudential Tower rose over Boston 45 years ago, and today it's both a praised and panned fixture in the city's skyline. Tonight, Ted Reinstein takes us inside this vertical city, home to 8-thousand office workers, from the ground floor on up to the panoramic view in the 50th floor Skywalk. He learns what it takes to keep it secure – and clean. And he discovers that it's not just humans who are drawn to this iconic structure.
