Tuesday, June 16: AloshaA victim of Chernobyl finds happiness and a home in BostonPOSTED: 12:46 pm EDT June 11,
2009 In 1986, the world learned the name of an obscure nuclear power plant in the Soviet Union, when an accident at the Chernobyl reactor sent radioactive fallout spewing across Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. Tonight, Mary Richardson tells the amazing story of how Alosha found a new life in America, thanks to the selfless acts of many Bostonians.
