Toledo, OH -- (Sports Network) - DaJuane Collins scored on a four-yard touchdown run with seven minutes left in the game to give the Toledo Rockets a 20-19 Mid-American Conference win over the Northern Illinois Huskies at the Glass Bowl. Collins ran for 139 yards and scored two touchdowns as the Rockets (4-3, 2-1 MAC) won for the third time in their last four outings. Austin Dantin stepped in at quarterback for the injured Aaron Opelt and was 17-of-24 through the air for 202 yards and a touchdown. Me'co Brown rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown for the Huskies (3-3, 1-1). Chandler Harnish was 15-of-24 for 157 passing yards. He also registered two rushing touchdowns. Toledo opened the scoring in the final minute of the first quarter when Collins ran 17 yards for a touchdown. The Rockets extended their lead to 14-0 when Dantin hit Tim Cortazzo with a 26-yard touchdown pass midway through the second period. The Huskies responded just before halftime when Brown scored on a one-yard run. But the conversion attempt was blocked, one of two failed Northern Illinois conversion attempts, and Toledo still lead 14-6. Harnish brought the Huskies to within a point when he scored from a yard out to make it a 14-13 midway through the third quarter. He scored on another one- yard run just over a minute into the fourth quarter to give the Huskies a 19-14 advantage, but a two-point conversion attempt failed. Collins scored the winning touchdown to conclude a 90-yard drive that ate up more than six-and-a-half minutes on the clock. Toledo survived despite turning the ball over three times.
