GAME NOTES: The schedule has reached its final day for the Princeton Tigers and Penn Quakers, as the two teams will battle in Philadelphia with little more than pride on the line. Cornell has already wrapped up the Ivy League title, as the "Ancient Eight" doe not have a league tournament in place. Princeton has suffered back-to-back losses, including a 60-51 setback at Cornell on Saturday. The Tigers carry a 4-8 record in true road games into this evening's event, and they will finish below .500 overall regardless of the outcome. As for Penn, it has won two of its last three games, including a dramatic 51-50 triumph over Columbia on Saturday. The Quakers are just 10-17 overall, including a woeful 3-9 at home, but they do have a chance to even their league record at 7-7 with a win tonight. Penn owns a 122-97 series lead over Princeton, which includes a 62-55 overtime triumph versus the Tigers in the first meeting this season.

Douglas Davis will close out this season as the first freshman in Princeton history to lead the program in scoring. Davis is netting 12.4 ppg, and Dan Mavriades (10.1 ppg) is the only other double-digit scorer in the lineup. The Tigers are generating a modest 57.8 ppg this season, but they have been able to limit their opponents to 57.3 ppg on 40 percent shooting from the field. In the nine-point loss to Cornell on Saturday, Davis played 31 minutes off the bench and scored 16 points despite 5-of-14 shooting from the field. Patrick Saunders pitched in 13 points for Princeton, which connected on only 35.4 percent of its field goal attempts, including 7-of-26 from three-point range. Defensively, the club permitted Cornell to shoot 51.1 percent from the floor.

The Quakers are scoring 65.9 ppg this season while shooting a lackluster 41.6 percent from the field. Defensively, they are allowing 69.5 ppg. Tyler Bernardini is the only double-digit scorer on the roster with his 13.7 ppg, but he is injured and isn't listed as a likely starter for tonight's contest. Kevin Egee was the hero for Penn on Saturday, as he drilled a 35-foot shot at the buzzer to lift his team over Columbia. Egee finished the game with 15 points, and Jack Eggleston posted 12 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Zack Rosen pitched in 10 points for the Quakers, who won despite 36.6 percent shooting from the field, including a 4-of-18 showing from three-point range. Fortunately, they were able to hold the Lions to 32.7 percent field goal efficiency.

Penn is the pick in this clash, as it will draw plenty of energy from the home crowd in this classic rivalry.
