NCAA Game Summary - Oregon At University Of Portland

Portland, OR -- (Sports Network) - Nik Raivio scored a game-high 24 points, leading four starters in double figures, as the University of Portland Pilots posted an 88-81 win over the Oregon Ducks in non-conference action at the Chiles Center. Also hitting for double digits were Robin Smeulders with 17 points to go along with his eight rebounds for the Pilots (3-0), followed by T. J. Campbell and Ethan Niedermeyer with 16 and 11 points, respectively. The Ducks (3-1) were paced by Malcolm Armstead who tallied 21 points off the bench on 9-of-15 shooting from the floor, while Tajuan Porter tacked on 15 points and Teondre Williams 13 points and six boards in the setback. Shooting 48.7 percent from the field in the first half, the Ducks managed to move out to a 45-37 lead at the break. The second half was a different story however, as Portland knocked down a sizzling 61.5 percent from the floor and 6-of-7 beyond the arc to capture the seven-point victory. The Pilots outscored the visitors 15-7 at the free-throw line and also made good on 11-of-19 behind the three-point line on the night.
