NCAA Game Summary - University Of Portland At Eastern Washington

(Sports Network) - Nik Raivio scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the University of Portland Pilots to a 64-58 victory over the Eastern Washington Eagles in a non-conference tussle at Reese Court.

T.J. Campbell added 15 points in the win for Portland (1-0), while Luke Sikma registered a double-double off the bench with 13 points and 14 boards.

Benny Valentine scored a game-high 20 points to lead the way for Eastern Washington (0-1), while Brandon Moore tallied 14 points to go with six rebounds in the losing effort.

The Eagles were held to an abysmal 21.1 percent shooting from the floor during the opening period, enabling Portland to take a 25-19 lead into the break.

In the second half, the Pilots buried 60 percent of their attempts from the field and added a 12-for-19 effort from the charity stripe en route to the six-point victory.

The Eagles were outrebounded by a 37-24 margin in the loss.
