Richmond, VA -- (Sports Network) - Junior Hairston scored 14 points to lead the Towson Tigers to a 58-54 victory over the Northeastern Huskies in the quarterfinals of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament at Richmond Coliseum.

Troy Franklin added 13 points in the win for 11th-seeded Towson (12-21).

Manny Adako led the way for third-seeded Northeastern (18-12) with a game-high 23 points to go with seven rebounds, while Chaisson Allen hauled in a game- high 10 boards for the Huskies.

The Huskies were held to a meager 33.3 percent shooting from the floor during the opening period, enabling the Tigers to take a 32-25 lead into the break.

Towson shot at a respectable 45.0 percent clip during the second frame to earn the four-point win.

The Tigers will face second-seed George Mason in the semifinals on Sunday.
