NCAA Game Summary - Pacific Vs. Long Beach State

(Sports Network) - Chad Troyer tallied 22 points and the third- seeded Pacific Tigers edged the second-seeded Long Beach State 49ers, 65-60, in the semifinal round of the Big West Conference Tournament at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena.

Troyer finished 6-of-9 from long distance for the Tigers (19-11), who will meet Cal State Northridge in the title game on Saturday. Bryan LeDuc and Michael Kirby also got into the mix, netting 13 points apiece.

T.J. Robinson led the way for LBSU (15-15) with 21 points and six boards, while Donovan Morris chipped in with 13 points in the loss.

The Tigers shot 45.5 percent from the floor, including 5-of-10 from three- point range, in the first half and took a 29-26 lead at the break.

Pacific kept things going in the second stanza, making 52.9 percent of its attempts from the floor and 6-of-10 from downtown for the five-point victory.

The Tigers, who went 16-of-20 at the foul line, are set to make their first championship game appearance since taking home the title in 2006.
