NCAA Game Summary - Saint Joseph's At Fordham

(Sports Network) - Tasheed Carr poured in 20 points and dished out seven assists and the Saint Joseph's Hawks rolled past the Fordham Rams, 71-54, in Atlantic 10 Conference play at Rose Hill Gym.

Carr went 4-of-6 from long range and had three steals, as SJU (16-14, 9-7 A10) defeated Fordham for the 15th time in the past 16 meetings. Garrett Williamson posted 11 points and six boards, and Ahmad Nivins pulled down a game-high 15 caroms in the triumph.

Alberto Estwick recorded 16 points and five assists for the Rams (3-24, 1-15), who dropped their 10th game in a row, and Jio Fontan added 15 points.

The Hawks used a 19-5 run in the first half to open a commanding 37-18 advantage at the break.

SJU shot 45.5 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes and coasted to the 17-point win.

The Hawks won the battle on the boards, 43-28, in addition to holding Fordham to a dismal 33.3 percent shooting performance from the floor.
