Muncie, IN -- Dennis Trammell poured in a game-high 22 points to lead the Ball State Cardinals in an 86-62 victory over the Bowling Green Falcons in a Mid-American Conference tilt from Worthern Arena. Julien Mills finished with 20 points and five rebounds for the Cardinals (8-5, 3-2 MAC), while Peyton Stovall had 17 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the foul line. Terrance Chapman was the fourth player on Ball State to register in double figures, knocking in 15 points. John Reimold paced Bowling Green (10-4, 4-2) in defeat with 17 points and six rebounds. Josh Almanson recorded 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Falcons, while Steven Wright had 10 points and a team-high five assists. Ball State went on a 15-5 run near the midway point of the first half and held a 49-37 advantage heading into the locker rooms. The Cardinals closed the game on a 16-2 run as they cruised to the 24-point victory. Ball State converted 47.6 percent of its long range attempts and hit on 28- of-40 shots taken from the foul line.
