Police Searching For Assailant

A 16-year-old boy was shot to death Tuesday night in Dorchester, police said.

Carlos Sierra, of Dorchester, was shot 13 times near 16 Strathcona Rd. at about 10:40 p.m. He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are interested in speaking to the occupants of a gray or dark green Honda with tinted windows that is believed to have been in the area at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information was urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.

The Boston Police Department said that officials will protect the identity of those who wish to remain anonymous.
