BOSTON -- Dig out your old cellphones, Mp3 players and computers. There's a business in Boston that's willing to pay you for your used gadgets. It sounds like a win-win situation. Hop online and register your used gadget, then mail it out for cash paying nothing for shipping. Gazelle, a Boston-based company, offers payouts on more than 20 categories of electronics."We take in about 10,000 products per month and about 90 percent of those are sold into re-use," said Gazelle's Kristina Kennedy. The items are re-sold on Amazon and eBay, but not before sensitive data is erased."We take them, we wipe them, we unlock them," said Kahn Kim, Gazelle's technical services manager. Some items may not be candidates for resale, but they will be properly recycled, the company said.
