Celtic Pride Goes On Parade

Celebrate With Traditional Food, Music, And Dancing

Green beer is about to start flowing in New England. St. Patrick's Day is Tuesday, March 17, and a number of towns are putting their Celtic Pride on parade.

South Boston is holding its 108th annual St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday, March 15. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. at the Broadway "T" Station and ends at Andrew "T" station. The parade will feature dozens of bands, including pipes and drums.

In Western Massachusetts, the Holyoke St. Patrick's Day parade gathers nearly half a million spectators a year with 40 bands and 30 floats on Sunday, March 22.

The parade in Scituate, Mass., begins at Gates' Junior High School on March 15 at 1 p.m. and ends at scenic Scituate Harbor.

Manchester, N.H., kicks off its St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 29, at noon at the intersection of Elm and Webster Streets.
